So let me start of by saying im a complete newbie to diesels and that this forum has been a great help.

Ive done a complete delete turbo back full egr/cooler delete and im running a smarty jr. Now the more i read the more
Im scared of hurting my tranny. I dont dogg my truck just get on it from time to time. I dont tow anything other the haul myself to work lately. But would like to know if i really need to build this trans but unsure which way to go since i dont want to spend 8k on a bulletproof trans since i dont plan on ever making 800+hp

You could get a Suncoast Mega Jr. They are relatively cheap(as opposed to a competition trans). And if you don't plan on going over 550-600hp, it'd be right up your alley.

There are several options that will get you into a properly built transmission. Do some searches on here and you can learn ALOT!
