How many people are running aftermarket or modified transmissions. And at what point do you need to do so.

I also put my black maxx on the higher setting once and my tranny now has a shudder. Once you have had a taste of the higher settings its hard to resist.

That may be but i dont lay awake at night thinking im going to have to put 6K into my truck if i stand on it too hard anymore. Now i can stand on it without worry!! Clutches are cheap..:party018:

Yes, and knowing how to drive is priceless. Just because it is an auto doesn't really mean it will automatically adjust for stupid drivers.

I have 38K miles on my stock auto. I dynoed at 450 1200 and have sled pulled 15 times. NO PROBLEMS. I have been moded since 3k miles.

You have to know when to hold them and when to fold them:shock:

no, stock tranny and was running Hot on the Black Maxx.

its just a matter of time before your tranny goes. I made it two years with 400hp and alot of abuse. About the last six months with a Goerend TC in it.
