Track Bar Question

Can someone please explain to me why an adjustable Track Bar is recommended for trucks that are lifted or leveled? Is an adjustable Track Bar on a truck like mine something the auto shop would know to check/adjust when I take my truck in for an alignment? My truck is leveled 2.5 inches with an added leaf and I am putting longer control arms on to clear 20x12's and 33x12.50's and I just want to make sure I am doing everything right.

track bars are on all our trucks....lifted or not! Thats what keeps your front end in the midle...it prevents "traking" from side to side.
Mine is leveled and i am still using the stocker...if i would go any higer, im guessing that i would need a longer one...
Good question, I've always wondered the same.

My guess is that you would just adjust it to wherever it lines up with the holes when the truck is sitting on level ground, after you put the lift on...but not 100% sure on this one
