has anyone tried the electrolytic capacitor (440 microFarads, 35 Vdc) trick on the TPS to bring it back to working properly? if so does somone have a diagram of the wires it should be hooked to on the ecm plug. its a 95 truck

I've tried a handful of tricks to bring the TPS back to life.
The only one that worked for a worthwhile length of time was buying a new TPS.
The most common problem is the rheostat windings inside the TPS get hammered then start shorting in the area where your throttle rides most, namely at your highway cruising speed.
There are no tricks that can fix that.
