MT or AT you can't go wrong! Best tire whichever one you choose. Pay close attention to the load ranges and the ply ratings, there are a few sizes that are great in one tread design but far less of a tire in the other tread design.
My 35" MT's only required 4 ounces to balance. They grab like there is no tomorrow, and are really quiet for a MT. I used to run Nitto TG's which is similar to the Toyo AT, but not quite as well constructed. They were great on the road, especially in the rain, and awesome in the sand. I don't know how close the rubber composition is between the TG's and the OC/AT's, but I had to rotate my TG's alot to get a good life out of them... 35,000-40,000.
