If you are in tow-haul then probably not, unless you really have your foot in it. They do shift a little hard but it doesn't seem to be a bad thing according to what everybody is saying. Your Dodge will probably never seem as smooth as your Chev but you have a strong transmission in the Dodge and I don't think I would worry unless it is really hard and lurching. You may see more of it when the exhaust brake is on in tow-haul and you are decelerating.
