ok guys I had thread awhile ago but I still didnt rest my mind on the following...I can turn my smarty way up #5,#7 and the truck won't spin the tires...I've noticed if the truck is sitting still and my foot calls for lots of fuel :) the truck wont keep building boost it just defuels...I cant even spin the tires standing still and flooring it...all my other vehicles make big power and have no problems of this sort, so this has been bothering me for the past year of my trucks life....does my truck have a problem or what...runs fine other then the defueling when sitting still

Are you getting the overboost code. if you are you are right in thinking its defueling. so ive been told. in which case i believe a boost fooler should do the trick. i think.

Something has been done to the 05 cuz they would not spin the tires stock either.

If you have not changed out the TC your just driving thru the fluid coupling and hitting the defuel point with no wheel speed. Programmers do not reset that parameter.

Get a tighter TC and you will see the differences.
