Well, i tore out all my 04 cummins firewall insulation as it was pretty trashed. I heard stories of how it really didn't make a difference in cab noise. Well, that's incorrect. Just as mt tires are also noisy as hell which people said didn't make a difference in canmb noise as well. I think half the people on these forums are deaf. 馃槀. So, anyone have any luck with frost king or any other cheaper products to cut down on can engine noise? I know the frost king helped slightly on my doors.

Mine caught fire on my compound鈥檚 years ago , I used a summit brand stick on heat/sound deadner and it鈥檚 worked great . Just have to make sure the firewall is really clean

Removed my awhile ago. It was sagging and made taking the valve cover off a pain. I didn鈥檛 notice any difference in noise in the cab. But my truck is loud anyways.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am just going to wait until the day comes when I need to rebuild the engine. I hope not soon!
