Well I installed the muffler today. She is heavy a piece lol. 1st impression its little louder then running a 17 fte resonator. Its not as loud as a straight pipe no muffler even open it still acts like a muffler some what. When closed its seems to be a lot quieter and less drone then compared to my 17" resonator. Which I do like for the highway use. I was running 95-100 mph, around 2500 rpms, and only thing I can hear is my tires screaming. Very little drone :thumbsup: which was nice. I still need little more time to get a feel for it . Bottom line is, it does what its advertised to do. I would've liked it to be alittle louder when open, however drone is still down vrse straight no muffler. Only thing that puzzles me is when its closed it force the exhaust up around the 5" straight pipe through the middle, its like a dead end, then it has to go around. Note I have a second gen swap so my egts are much lower then stock manifold and turbo. So its gotta put a little back pressure on the exhaust. I did watch egts both when open and closed I really didn't see a difference in temps open vrs closed. Is it worth the money? Well I will say this its a nice piece there was time and quality put into making it. Its buy no means some cheesy junk thrown together. :thumbsup: I would say price reflects the materials, and build quality.
