I have a long bed that I use for my Quad and there is very little room left when it's in there. The Roll-x sits on top of the bed when rolled but I cannot get an answer as to how big it is when rolled up near the window. I have searched for videos and tried the manufacturer but have not gotten a response. Any help appreciated. I found a good deal and need a cover for Holiday Tavel

I have one on my mega, not a long bed so it'll be a larger diameter rolled up on your truck. I'm out eating breakfast now ... But will measure mine to compare and report back when I get home.

Thank You! If you could get me the distance from the rear window to the outside edge of the roll that would be awesome! i don't think its gonna work but I really like the cover.

No problem .... From the rear window it's just shy of 10" to the very outside edges where the locking lugs are. On the inside area, it is 9.75".

I also measured from the back of the bed (inside where quad wheels would touch) to the outside edge and that is 6".

It is very easy and fast to remove the roll portion. Two hand tightened releases and you can pull it off already rolled up. This way you could still transport the quad, but have a cover that locks otherwise.

Hope that helps.

How do you like your cover? I've been on the fence since these have been released.

Overall I like it. A friend of mine had it on his truck for a few weeks before he traded on a newer one. The new truck came with the mopar cover .... so for $400 I bought his hardly used Rollx. I had a backflip G2 on my old truck and overall like that also, but prefer the Rollx over the backflip.

Mine leaks just a little, and that is b/c I need to adjust how it is mounted. Once I adjust a little, it will be fine. It sits a little high at the tail and I get a little in the bed if the back end is parked high. While driving in rain all gear stays dry. I wanted a cover that I could lock to secure gear on vacations and hunting trips, and it does that just fine. Eventually I will get a camper shell, maybe a Leer with the sportsman package but a $400 fix for a year or two until I want to spend the $$ on a shell and it works good for that.

I ordered mine yesterday. Free shipping and no tax. Thanks for all the help. I had a G2 on my old Hemi as well. It held up great for the 6 years I had it on but was beginning to fall apart. Excited to get this on for security on family trips but still be able to haul the quad.
