It probably will be too much timing with the edge. But for now you can do the tone ring mod until you get the edge. After you do the ring mod it will take 2 min to put it back to stock so it wouldn't be a hassle at all:thumbsup
That was my thought too. The edge adjusts timing so doing the tone ring could get alittle squirrelly. Dont think I do it. Youll be very happy with the Edge. Its given me a nice bump is power, but has also kept me from frying my tranny so far.
thanks guys, the tone/timing ring mod is where you take off the crank pulley and pull off the timing gear behind it, this gear has a dowel pin that locates it. take a dremel tool to the dowel pin hole and make it oblong, then you can manually adjust your timing without a programmer/box
