I have an 07.5 that I tow with all the time it currently has a 2" level and 285/75/17 TOYO's. I tow for work and have a 33 ft camper I pull on weekends, my wife has a serious hip injury and I need to get the truck lower for her. I am thinking about taking the spacers out of the coils and installing 2" lowering shackles on rear the running 305/65/17 tires, probably Mickey Thompson ATZ's. Has anyone ran these tires, what are you're thoughts on them, how do thay wear, handle, and tow

I did the reverse level on my 2009 4x4 truck (had a spring shop take out the spacers). If I recall it took some of the rake out of the truck helped level it (1.5" to 2" drop at rear bumper).
It made it easier to hook up trailers and work off the tailgate etc...
I still wish the whole truck was 3 inches lower to the ground...... I see no reason a pickup truck needs to sit this high off the ground.
You could also go down to a 245 sized tire which would help with stability and height for trailer towing.

What about the auto drop down side step bar? When you open the door, it auto drops down to make it easy to get into vehicle and when door shuts, it auto comes up.
