its that time to spend my tax returns!
I want bigger tires and wheels but no lift or leveling kit. what can i fit on my 04 dually and what kind of spacer will i need for the rear wheels?
Ive searched the Internet for spacers but idk what size to get or where to get it from.

What kind of tires are you looking for? AT? MT?

I've seen as big as 305's with a 2" spacer. Definately sharp :thumbsup:

all depends Nick..... are you going for "looks" or functionallity? on road or off road? can't say as I'm any help on the topic of spacers..... I've still got the Stock rims and TIRES on the the 6.7! I'll see what I can come up w/~

I'm in the same boat. I have an 06 dually and also ready for some rubber. The factory tire was a 235 80. I was thinking of running a 265 70 or a 285 70. I know i wont need a lift but what kind of spacing will i need? Do i need to space the front for steering clearance. Anybody running this configuration, i think could help us both out.

I have considered the super singles. But they are terrible in the snow and not really in my budget to buy new rims.

they do make them in a traction!! As far as tires with no level or spacer certain 265's and a 255/80/17 are about your only options, most people running 285's require the use of a spacer, especially if loaded

You can run a 305/70 with no leveling kit, 2" rear spacer and be alright

Dude just buy some Alcola 22.5 if you stop off at a tire company that deals with Semi's you can grab rims for a few hundred and grab tires a few hundred more and then all you need is adaptors for the rims for like 6-800 ish area I've never priced those yet..

adapter's run for 700 for the full set.... all the ones i've priced around

tires- some are cheapers then others but a decent AT like i got then your looking at 244 a tire

i've seen some mild AT's with only a 1/2" spacer, but i've also seen some mt's with side lugs and 1.5" spacer, so i think it depends on the tire and it they have any sidelugs on them. best of luck :thumbsup:

So ive concluded that 33x12.5r17 tires would work with a 2 inch wheel spacer. no lift. Stock rims

Ive seen that exact set up, my only thing is that I dont like spacers.
