I'm not too far off from needing new tires and I have tossed up the idea of rims for a while, I've just never really looked into it that much. One of the main reasons for larger rims is brakes as well. I want to run 3rd gen pads and rotors but I can't given the 16 inch rim.

I know it's a lot of black, but everything chrome just didn't seem to fit. Let me know what you think.

1 or 4 both look good to me. Food for thought cause I have been contemplating what you are for the exact same reason(3rd gen brakes). If funds are limited, consider installing an exhaust brake and keeping stock forged rims. That way you have a braking system that preserves your existing oem brakes(extended brake pad service) and is a must if you ever want to hook up an RV or pull a trailer thru the mountains or if you want super fast winter warmups. Also you retain fuel economy with lighter smaller stock wheels. I know there are cooler looking rims to be had but I have always believed that "Form Follows Function"

Agreed on the rockstars. I like 1 and 6, but I honestly cant decide. Most of these have tire options of 285/60/18 if I believe.. don't quote me on that. Do y'all think I could go for a 305?

Depending on the backspace, I ran a 315/70/16? And couldn't turn at all. I had to get out a grinder, that was with a 2" leveling kit and 4.5 backspace.

Depends on your backspace and offset. I have stock 3rd gens on 315s and they rub the control arms bad.

I'm honestly afraid to do 315s and aftermarket wheels. But its all about offset
