I have a 3500 Dually with the Laramie package. My previous truck was a 1500 with the same package. The 1500 would alert me on low air pressure in the tires. The 3500 shows the tire pressure(s) in the instrument panel, but I get no warning of low pressure. My inside tire was down to ten pounds and no warning.

So my question is: Is the 3500 supposed to warn me ?

My dually has the ability to go into settings and turn the tire pressure indicator on or off. It's on the radio panel. But mine is just a big horn. I would check that area first to make sure it's not turned off. edit: After posting I went out and double checked the location for the Tire Fill Assist - It is in the UConnect app - just push that and you will find it on the screen.

MY SRW 3500 Laramie has this option in the Uconnect. I leave mine off because I check my tire pressures before I tow.

No you don't. Its in the Uconnect. You can select a pressure that it will notify you.

You are referring to selectable tire fill alert, which has nothing to do with the EVIC automatically informing you when a tire has fallen below threshold. Like mentioned above, 3500s have TPIS, which is information system only. You have to purposely pull up the tire psi screen to view the pressures. You will not be alerted to a tire that is below a set threshold.

The National Highway Traffic Safety people only require notification on passenger vehicles and the 3500 1 ton trucks are exempt from the requirement so it is not on the truck to give you a notification. That is what I understood when I looked into it.
