What pressure do you all run in your stock transforce tires? Dealer had them at 90 (max says 80.) seems like 50-60 would be a vastly improved ride quality

I dropped them to 65 in front, 60 in back - huge improvement already. Might try 50/55

What's recommended when at full load.
Anything less than that should be lower pressures, as easily found in a tire load chart.

Been running 65psi. They heat to 71 when warm.

If you go much below that the tire pressure sensors sometimes go off like you are having a flat.

This is what I'm doing - 60 in back, 65 Inc won't. Drives much better than 90!

You don't know what you're missing.
Ride quality and handling vs. an irritating light on the dash. Your choice.

I run about 60 front, 50 rear year-round, towing or empty. That's sufficient per scale weights and load and inflation table. Good ride, wear and traction.

Thank you! I think I'll try this. I'm at 60/65 right now and it's pretty good but will try yours

I should add that's sufficient for towing our TT, family of 4, box full of junk for a summer camping trip. If you carry much more in the box or towing a 5th wheel/gooseneck you'd likely need more in the rear at least.

80psi would be overinflated, so negligible:

Or do your own search:

I think there are enough variables with the Cummins to make extrapolating some of that data difficult... Even inaccurrate.

I have 19.7 with psi of 80 over 3k miles.

I'll drop it down and see what happens.

I keep good records. This will put me into winter diesel timeframe unfortunately...
