So apparently my ccv needs to be replaced and it decided to push the timing cover gasket and/or the crank gasket and cause them to leak. Does anyone have a write up on replacement with tools and torque specs?
If you do both and likely will have a oil mess under the hood, if you gut the filter run a hose somewhere down on the frame to puke on the road. As for oil leak wash the front of the motor off to see where the leak is first. It could be the crank seal/ front cover or behind the gear housing between it and the block.I'm gonna gut it and run the glacier breather
I've read that if you fix the ccv your oil seal might fix itself....You really think it's moving that much oil? Leak looks like it's coming right out of the crank seal area...
You must have had a CEL for a long time to do that.No takers? Lol
