what exactly does this do?
provides a substantially more solid connection between the front axle to the frame. does provide much improved handling, is sold at a reasonable price and a fairly quick install.

Thuren makes a great product. Don't know about others but I think his price is very fair considering the quality of the part.

I love my Thuren track bar! Plus if you have a lift or leveling kit, it allows you to re-center the front axle.

Thuren tracbar.

let us know how much your ride improves. I may get one
It isn't designed to improve the ride. It tightens up the steering and enables you to come close to centering the axle on a 2-3" lift. I could feel the improvement on [email protected],500 miles over the stock unit. Lorenz sells it anodized.

does tighten up steering nicely, got rid of the lost on center wandering that reminded me of driving a boat. turning actually turns instead of having a few degrees of steering wheel lost in slop from stock parts.
