Throttle Drop Off

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question but I need to start somewhere.

It's not really a problem - more of an annoyance to me but when I accelerate real quick and then let of the throttle, it takes a long time for the rpm's to come back down. When I say a long time, it isn't really that long but I was used to the throttle on my 2001 QC Cummins, which I could hit and let off and the rpm's would drop right away.

The best way I can try to describe this (since I don't think I've done a very good job so far) is that I'm trying to give the throttle a little "burp". Like when your next to an import and what to surge ahead of him to get his attention. It seems like the 2006 wants to bring the rpm's back down more slowly.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.
