Thoughts on new 7x12s

Installed a fass150 (long overdue) and some DAP 7x12s. My truck idles quieter and smoother. Something else I noticed, maybe I'm dreaming, but I can go through the gears quicker with these new injectors. My thoughts on this were my old injectors with 230, 000 miles on them were getting tired and the pop pressure on my new injectors is what it should be and brings my rpm's down quicker. Am I way off for thinking this?

Another question is I put my fass on and a fuel pressure sensor for my quad. Sometimes my pressure will slowly drop it 0 and sit there for a second and then come back up to 20. Truck doesn't die or sound like it starving for fuel. I didn't put the snubber in that came with it (didn't see it in the box til I have the sensor in and wanted some kind of reading). Would this be causing readings that bad?

Last question. I blew an intercooler boot. What do you guys recommend for boots. Seems everyone has their own opinion on which is best...

All of the vendors offer boot kits, I bought one boot from extreme psi very good price. A full intercooler boot kit is gonna run around 200 bucks
BD diesel has some good boots and spring clamps. A quality injector makes a large difference in how a truck behaves.

was the boot you bought a intercooler boot perhaps?
Yes it was a 3 inch by 4 inches long for the upper left boot
I got my boots from either pure diesel power or source auto, which was nice cause I only needed the intercooler boots and I didn't have to buy the hole kit.
Frozen boost.com is another with every size imaginable.
I found a site called siliconeintakes.com and the intercooler boots are a 20 bucks a piece. hace the 50psi working and 200 burst and are 4 ply construction wall and 5 layer of silicone so they are a true 4 ply. so ill prolly try them. cheapest ive found
We should have our own kit by the new year. We sell a good kit with spring clamps. the cheap 4 ply boots are okay for stock but not as reliable as the heavy duty ones that we carry.
Any ideas on my other issues?
OP did u just blow it off or did you blow a hole in it? I've blown all of mine off and still do sometimes..only every once in awhile now. Im waiting to buy a whole kit and be done with it at one time clamps, boots and all. A lot of guys around here run the stock boots till they start blowing holes in them...their stock boots have held 60+ psi with good clamps.
Just blew one off.
I highly recommend Silicone intakes, I have been using them for years (boosted gas truck). One thing to keep in mind with them is to use coupon code link987 for 10% off !

seemed like they are the same as any other silicone boot o just buy out right and at half the price. I got good spring clamps from my work (international shop) I have a 45* now that made my stock pipe work with my 3rd gen housing work just fine. gonna order the other two intercooler ones next week. as of now im gated at 50psi and not gonna worry bout them until/if they fail. plan is to throw a s472-478 under this charger.. just don't quite kno wht one yet. then they will be tested lol. thanks for the coupon code.
the siliconeintakes hoses are definitely not the same quality as some of the other kits. they are decidedly flimsy compared to other kits, that does not mean they will not hold 50psi. If you plan on twins, I am not confident they will hold.
