So i need some educated opinions... I bought a Reg Cab Shortbed, and im tryn to make a Mileage beast out of it, i want the best mpg possible. a privious owner had blocked off the wastegate. but what i want to know what are the effects of this on fuel economy? will it get better mpg with a functioning wastegate? i dont drive it hard.. i can drive it sinceable and get 20 mpg.. i know there are other things out there to get mpg, like added timing and exhaust.. but im not wanting to talk about those things, just the effects of having or not having a wastegate. so anywho, please let me know your knowledge. Thanks:thumbsup:

well ok, i found a good link that sheds a little light on this topic. it pretty much is telling me that by NOT having a wastegate your MPG will not be as good as if you had a functioning wastegate...
so looks like im going to hook this dude back up.. if it wasnt mutilated by the person who did it.:spank:
