These are my new front brake rotors and pads from The Brake Man. They are made in USA, by Americans, in California. Cost is slightly higher than local auto parts store "premium brakes", but less than OEM cost from dealer.

I already had upgraded front brakes from Raybestos (Rotors) and Pads from PFC, and braking was good.

I put these on, and I thought I was going to be launched through the front window with how well they grab and stop the truck, I had to gained a 30% increase in brake power at least.

I got the rear ones also, but have not installed yet since putting them on requires taking apart the rear axles, etc.. So I should gain even more once those are installed.

If you go this route, you need to get both the pads and rotors as they are designed and treated to work together.

Highly recommend them

That how they are on the dually's. Makes taking the rotors off a real PIA!! A 800lb gorilla put those nuts on, and not a single socket will fit in the spot so a crescent wrench had to be used... ugh...

Do those pads have a break in material on the face? Like what EBC does? If so you your performance is increased until that material wears off, so you may not know what to expect until then.

Nope, they have no extra material. I know the material your talking about, as I used to have EBCs its a reddish grit looking material.

Take a look at the pad in the pics, no break in material. They are pre-cured at the factory.

Just standard bed in process needs to be followed, and a light sanding of the rotor (even new ones) to remove any protective coating, or glazing on the rotor.

Love the brakes.

I can say what I paid here, because I got a SEMA discount, but the cost for a set for all corners would be in the range $600.

If you compare these to OEM or other say like Ray Bestos premium you can clearly tell the tell difference in how they are made.
