Thanks to everyone this site has been more helpfull in 2hrs then anywhere in the last two weeks!
Can I delete the EGR before the DPF without causing problems?

no. The EGR, and what it does to EGT, helps regen. Without the EGR your DPF, over time, will fail.

the dpf will clog without the egr in place as the dpf will not have enough heat to burn off the soot.
