got the privilage of hanging out with a few guys
that were running the texas mile in a built ford gt.
set a record of 257.7 mph in the mile with a 204.4 mph
@ the 1/2 mile mark. very awesome to be in the pits
and get to meet some really good guys. anyway,

Had the chance to go there also with the ART twin turbo Viper, wish I would have known you were there. Was that your red g-8 running?

^ whats up man ! it was one of my buddies that ran it. he did pretty good
considering... yeah, wish i knew you were there.

hopefully we'll need 6th gear in oct when the car tries for 260 mph + :)

I know a few of the folks associated with that Viper and ART. I had a good friend down there with ART, but he hasn't told me how they did.

I think there best was 233 or 236, not bad for a driver thats never raced before, I think they ended up with engine trouble Sat. afternoon. The A.R.T. team has one pretty amazing outfit.Got to go by last week during the dyno of the ballista twin turbo, it made 1700+ before it smoked the tires on the dyno
