Sooooo can we get this state split already and get some presidents and stuff??????

Ill throw this out there since I started this what about ...

South TX to include Houston, Austin, San Antonio and lower

North for the Dallas/Ft Worth area folks

Far North for the Panhandle folks

An then West for the ppl out towards El Paso

I see that as being the easiest way...what do yall... mods, admins, national chapter pres...anyone who has power...think???

I just didnt think there should be 25 sections and was trying to keep it simple...I guess we could kick Austin out and let that be central Texas....are there any other major cities out there as im not staring at a map??? let me now and ill pm one of the mods or admin!!!

I think there should be a RGV Chapter, especialy if we are going to try and have monthly meets. I sure wont be driving from South Padre all the way up to Corpus or San Antonio to attend monthly meetings. Maybe a South Texas chapter, and a DEEP South Texas Chapter. lol. Just a thought.

Well there can be monthly meets everywhere not just in the major cities... This is just to get the state split up into a few sections since it is so big

How about this? We just need to make Texas 1 Chapter. Trying to split it up sounds like to much trouble and seems to be whats causing us from starting a chapter.
We need to make 1 Chapter and have everyone plan on a meeting once a year in Central Texas somewhere, say like Lake Travis. Then every city can start there own monthly meetings and anyone in between cities can pick what city they want to go to.

Ive talked to several ppl and they want to get something big going in Texas every yr...not just for cummins forum but just a good annual event...sounds like a good idea to me...we dont really got any big things here besides DHRA in Baytown and that looks like its fading fast!
