Tan Leather Replacement

I'm looking at a truck with tan leather. The front seats are worn, but the back is great. Is there a factory match leather front seat kit out there that I can do it myself?

Or how much have y'all paid to get the front seats recovered?

I had mine reupholstered leather front and back. I went black leather with red seat bolsters , looks pretty good. Also replaced carpet same time to black. Fronts cost me about 800 for the pair. Thats Canadian tho, probably cheaper stateside. The cushion under the drivers seat is usually crushed , only way to replace that I have found is to get one from a wrecked truck, the passenger cushion is identical to the drivers so it can be used also
just had a leather Mercedes seat reworked for $250. You can have the bad panels replaced and dyed to match. They can also add padding.

Be concerned about the other known weak spots - fuel system, steering, VP. Anything not refurbished is suspect. Include heater core because of the time factor, not dollars for parts. Take a scanner with you.

edit: The passenger side may just need cleaning and spraying.

Thanks for the heads up.

This truck has a new lift pump, 1/2 in fuel lines, new VP, and a new long block was put in 30k miles ago since the original block was a 53 and cracked.

Anything else I need to check out besides fuel pressure, front end and the usual? I do have a code reader I'm gonna take.

The cushion for the drivers seat is available on ebay from a dealer in Mass. Make sure to cover the sharp edges on the seat frame with leather to prevent more rubbing,
