search 06 tach problems. Very common in the 06's. The tach is bad.

Tach reads low
Noticed latley the Tach was reading low (reading 400 to 450 rpms) at normal idle. Problem cleared but has come and gone.

Mine does the same thing. Got to re solder a couple places on the board.
