Im going to buy a little tack/shift light from autometer.. The type thats only about 1.5" round the size of just a light so i can hide it easy. But ive heard that the stock tach uses a 5v system not a 12v but maby im thinking wrong?

Is there any information out there as to how to hook one up? any ideas to make this painless?

No possable way to do this? None at all? Ive already searched and came up with nothing... Just 1st gen stuff
