Damn never need to prelube ... ouch !!!! always pre lube a new turbo fill it and spin it by hand man , when you get in to VGTs and your customers are paying an arm and a leg for a turbo you better damn well pre lube that thing !!really, any good turbo shop will leave assembly lube oil on the shaft/bearings... it's always a good idea to pre-lube the turbo, but if you've ever watched a mechanical oil pressure gauge connected to one of these turbos, there's really no need to pre-lube a turbo if your engine is in good shape![]()
