really, any good turbo shop will leave assembly lube oil on the shaft/bearings... it's always a good idea to pre-lube the turbo, but if you've ever watched a mechanical oil pressure gauge connected to one of these turbos, there's really no need to pre-lube a turbo if your engine is in good shape
Damn never need to prelube ... ouch !!!! always pre lube a new turbo fill it and spin it by hand man , when you get in to VGTs and your customers are paying an arm and a leg for a turbo you better damn well pre lube that thing !!

ATS calls for 45ft pds, for head bolts.
Anyone putting new turbo on should
pre lube, or risk damage.

I just did this last weekend.......just like said take turbo and manifold off together and good to go.
it helps to take out the bolts holding the coolant line so that it can move and give u an easier way to get to the bolts.
exhaust gasket set was $25 at Oreillys

the gasket for the oil drain on the bottom of the turbo is a dodge only part(atleast no one in my town had it) so dont mess that up.

one of our guys went to HFD about a yr ago and he loves it.
