At least this clear cover would never rust out. Up north that can and sometimes does happen.

Hard for you to "see" your ring and pinion spinning while your driving the truck. :doh:

And once the oil starts spinning around inside the diff. you probably can't see much anyway.

I guess that way you can check the fluid level without pulling the plug. :confused013:
It's kinda one of those things that's useless, but then again, why not.

lol, i ordered one just cause i gotta be that ...

but once they do sit for a little bit the oil goes down and you can see your gears...

my diff cover won't hold oil to save its life...

I would worry about the impact resistance. Rocks have a knack for hitting things they are supposed to miss.

Yeah my truck stays on land, worst thing I can hit is a gator or a landfill...

Kind of a neat idea, my luck it would get busted spill.

My truck had a clear PTO cover on the trans when I bought it. Well, I don't know if it got over tightened or what but it cracked and drained the trans dry . And I didn't know it was empty for a while until it started gifting funny. Luckily several years later the trans shifts better than ever lol
