I have a 92 w250 4x4 5 speed. I'll have a few questions, just like to c what others think and what not. The other day I was going to pull my buddy out of the mud which I had already had it in 4x4 to get to where I was going, it was doing fine and everything until I started to pull on him and I smelled burning like a clutch smell perhaps. What do you think is wrong with that picture, it don't smell any other time??
Now my rear end seal at the pinion is leaking a little as well, any ideas on what to go with there, I know I can change it or throw some heavy Lucas in there idk yet??
Also when I got it not to long ago, the guy before me put a brand new 4 inch lift on it, new leaf springs and u bolts and that stuff, now with my steering he said when he got it done at first the wheel was upside down and it is bout 75 to the top from being able to hold wheel the way it should be goin down the road, any ideas on how to smooth out the steering when applying brakes and straighten it out and everything, all feedback would b great !!!

If you smell burnt clutch, that very well could be what it is. Did you feel it slipping at all? Has the clutch ever slipped before?

For the rear diff leaking, changing the pinion seal will probably be the best rout. When you remove the yoke, make sure its not worn where the seal contacts the yoke or it may leak even with a new seal if its worn bad enough.
Also, make sure to use the proper fluid. If its a limited slip, go easy on the Lucas if you use any and make sure the fluid is specifically for LS diff's and has the LS additive in it.

W350 92 is 100% correct. And to address the steering problem I suggest going to cross over steering kit. OffRoad design makes one bad kit!!!! I run it on my 92 and its the only way to go. That and a borgson steering shaft. Install both of those and your truck will drive like it just left the factory back in 92

There are a few reasons the speedometer/odo might have quit. Most likely either the vss or wires are messed up or there are a couple plastic gears in the speedometer that get brittle and break on these trucks. There are replacement speedo gears available.

There are alot of threads about the speedometer issues, you might do some reading. Alot of info on here
