Thats good to know. I may do this, just hope i dont scew up the coils when i cut em.

Don't cut them with a torch, use a cut off wheel or chop saw. Start with small amounts like 1/4 to 1/2 coils to get the height you want.

Neither, you cut 1/4 of an entire coil off.

Not sure if I misse it, but what did you do to do a reverse level?

Remove the overload or add drop shackles possibly both
