Complain to the legislature

this was my letter: feel free to use it in your petittion.

I do not wish the government or the ARB to pass further regulations on Diesel or Gasoline engines, both on-road and off-road.

It makes no sense that a 1 ton truck used to get 20+ mpg without all the extra emissions controls, now the same truck gets 12-16mpg.

Has there honestly been a 40% reduction in emissions to justify the wanton waste of fuel? I do not want my tax dollars spent monitoring private individuals or businesses. I do not want or see the need for more emissions products to be forced to be installed on/in vehicles for private individuals, businesses or manufacturers by our government. It is hurting our economy.

and check out this joker...

He was one of the "experts" leading the study. Bought his "PhD" online for $1000 ... With that fraud he is still employed by the state at $8,000 a month.:spank:

Whats the deal with this, what brang this hearing about?

I believe it was the fraud related, since the board member did not have the credentials he claimed.

Electric vehicles are not pollution free. That is one of the big lies told about them. The energy must be produced and the electric generation = pollution.(pollution free at the point of source ie the car, but the source is just centralized to the coal, water and nuclear generators, oh don't forget the solar and wind at 5% or less of production.) There is energy loss in transmission, and the batteries when charged are not 100% efficient for energy transfer, and the batteries are only good for 5-7 years then you need to buy thousands of $$$ in new batteries. Electric cars make sense in a small # of applications.

Fact... Its easier for the government to control emissions at a plant.
