I would like to know if the drive pressure on this setup is a recipe for disaster. The spool up is awesome no smoke around town if I don't want it to and egt's are good to go never got above 1350 and 65psi on a wide open run to 90 on flat ground. Aheaded up north this weekend so we will see what it does at 4500'. Really don't want to replace my headgasket again. Any insight would be great.

The 35/3b combo is a very proven and effective combo for making power. Personally, I'd say 600hp is the upper limits for that setup but that's just me.

To answer your question on drive pressure, as long as it's 1:1 with the boost (65psi of drive pressure to 65psi of boost) then you won't have a problem. It can be a little over but if it starts going much over 1:1 then your gonna run into issues.

What size is the HT3B? I'm looking for quick spool up because of the manual trans. I just bought an HX35/40 Hybrid that I haven't installed yet, but still considering other options.

Piers diesel sells their Stage 1 kit as an 35/ht3b. They mentioned the spool up was closer to stock than any other twin system out there.

there are 3 ht3b housing out there that i knwo of a 23 , 26 and 32 for quick sppol up the 23 is the best however top end power will suffer (not that much your biggest restriction is the stock turbo) and i have seen up to 600 hp with that set up but the ran really hot 525 to 550 is a safer area. and these trubos came on semi's usualy got mine off a 855 big cam cummins. (n-14 before electronics)
