What would happen to the stock tranny if i ran a programmer on a high setting? What would be the first thing to go wrong vb, tq, ect.?

Maybe all of the above, from what Ive read seems like the TC gives up first, if you do launches then imput or output shafts and the rest will follow.

Hi,
In my opinoin, if you don't do boosted launches and drive in a high level but aren't abusive it can stand up ok but it will wear out more quickly. I have an edge Juice and I drove in level 5 several times just to try it out and my trans is fine, but most of the time I drive in econo mode to save fuel. Hope this helps.

I have a Smarty Jr. I thought it would be safe for a stock auto tranny. NOPE!! I drove very responsibly and my tranny started slipping after only 4k with the programmer installed. I only used the towing and economy mode to boot. I'm not sure if I'd run a programmer at all with the stock tranny. Of course, there are guys on this board who have high mileage with stock tranny with a programmer. Maybe it's luck of the draw.
