stock towing advice please

so I might be picking up a new tractor (50hp kubota with some age it) on a dual axle trailer, I don't think it's a fifth wheel. I want to use my dually, literally bought it two weeks ago, haven't even tested trailer brakes/lights on it. I've towed a good amount but only a little 5x8 with toys on it with a lifted jeep. I'm sure I can manage this trailer but can my truck? rear leafs look good but I feel like with such a big trailer and tractor I need airbags. I'll see if i can find a picture of it. thanks in advance

truck is nearly bone stock, fuel screw in a few turns, star wheel way back, no gauges, slightly aftermarket clutch with new pressure plate and bearings (pressure plate died last weekend)

I tow a dual axle trailer (10k rated) with a mini excavator (estimate 7500 total), or a 24ft camper (about 8000) with no problems. Make sure the trailer brakes work.

Mine is sigle wheel with an auto, some pump tweaks and an egt guage, I max at 1200 on long uphill grades but it comes right back down and settles around 8-900 when towing on the flat.

I tow tractors of that size and larger on a regular basis with our 10K rated car trailer and my D250 in stock form with an auto. It will suckhole pretty badly on a good climb, but generally manages it without too much difficulty.

More importantly, is the trailer rated for the load? Don't forget to add the weight of the loader and filled tires (if equipped) to the stated weight of the tractor. Make sure you keep adequate weight on the tongue. Loading the tractor too far back to lighten the tongue weight results in a trailer that will track poorly.

awesome advice thanks guys. I don't plan on picking it up for a little while, still dealing with my deere 69' 1020 that needs a rebuild...

The tractor could weigh 6 to 7,000 Lbs with loader ect or even more if its a larger frame model, so make sure the trailer will handle it ok. Make sure the brakes work good. It might be good to use 4th gear on the getrag to be on the safe side especially being a new to you truck.
You will be fine! Towed a bobcat with my w250 that has 327,000 miles and a burnt overdrive. These Trucks can handle a lot more than the gvwr states. How far you going though?
Well Dodge rated these trucks to haul 16k lbs when they came from the factory, so I'm sure that truck can do it. Just don't try to pull a grade in 5th, downshift to 4th or you will burn the bearings in the tranny.
As for the leafs, the duelly has some of the stiffest Springs I have ever come across. I don't see you needing helper bags
