I was thinking about buying a used intake horn and cleaning it up, then powder coating it. (all the soot inside) then porting it and polishing the inside. Has anyone done this, would it even help? I was gonna buy a new map sensor and butterfly delete as well. Just an idea to save a little cash.

But how much are you going to spend doing all that?? I know the WCC DD model is only 350. You'd get everything you want and not have to go through all the work of fixing the stocker. Which in my oppinion isn't worth it...

Ok I was thinking if I could find a stock used one for like $50 it might be worth it. But I guess it makes sense I would have a lot of time into it. Do you have to delete the grid heater with a aftermarket horn?
