on my truck in front of the resonator(which is in front of the muffler?)theres 2 diff sizes of exhaust pipe. theres a 2' section thats a lil smaller then 3" then it goes to 3" to the downpipe? this is definatly the most confusing stock exhaust i have seen. but i wanna put a turndown on the 3" part...so i figure a 3" ID cheap turndown from like autozone will work?

i just got done doin it =p i got it dumping right where the resenator would be. gettin rid of the muffler should help with egt's right?

is it chipped? if so get ready for the WHOLE underbelly of your truck to be covered in a thick black mess :lol3: dont sweat it it'll buff out :thumbsup

not yet :$: just doing simple cheap things now till i get some money. i mean it only cost me 9$ to do this and about 30mins of cutting with the sawzall:thumbsup
