stock 48re made it 195,000mi

My trans started slipping in 2nd, and I have no more adjustment on the band, in fact the screw is inside the Jam nut haha. I have ordered a stock rebuild kit with Borg Warner clutches, a single disk Billet Torque Converter, all the solenoids, front band, and the drum in case the band has worn in it bad enough.

For a stock motor besides a Smarty Jr, will this suffice?

You might want to consider a shift kit to increase line pressure.

Not sure if you have seen this, but it may give you some additional ideas:
