Hey everyone!
Just a question - everytime I turn the steering while for parking and slow backing/pulling forward, there is a metal/plastic noise coming from the steering wheel. This noise can NOT be heard outside. I wonder what it is and if it can be fixed at home or one of those "better drop at the dealer" type of fix.

The truck is 2017 Ram 3500 Cummins turbo diesel.
I checked for possible unfix recalls - nothing. 3 Recalls ever issued, all fixed.

Thank you!

The only thing that I can think of in the steering wheel would be the plastic gear that is a part of the clock spring case or something else clock spring related. Does it only make the noise when the steering wheel is actively turning?
