I have a weird problem with my steering linkage/column. Mostly when I'm rolling very slow. If I go over a speed bump my steering wheel will go from left to right, back and forth about 2 inches each way. I had the front end aligned and my alignment guy noticed it but couldn't figure it out. It was even noticable to my wife. Any thoughts?

sounds like bump steer, you should have a factory steering dampiner to stop it from doing that.

You have a leveling kit. If you have a 2 inch level kit you are OK, but when you go to 3 inch and above you need to get steering correction, as well as track bar brackets. What kind of level kit did you use? It also sounds like you used a drop pitmon arm with your spacers. If you change your pitmon arm, you have to relocate your track bar.

It's bump steer. Completely normal. Don't worry about it. I've got the drop track bar and dropped sway bar and corrected pitman arm and everything on my 4.5" lift and it did it with a skyjacker steering stabilizer and it does it without it. Don't worry about it.

Thanks for the info guys :thumbsup!! I bought it with the leveling kit on so I'm not sure what kind but I believe it has stock components, but if it's no problem then I won't worry about it.
