I have a 2007 5.9l that will not start. Lights radio and all other elec. works but when I turn the key to engage the starter it does nothing. I have cleaned and tightened all cables with no luck I think it is either my starter ,ignition, or a safety switch. Does anyone have an idea were to start?

Get your starter to a parts store to be tested . That's where I would start . Zero cost .

Do you have power to your starter relay? When you turn the key do you hear any noise like clicking or the starter spinning but not engaging. I would say mostly likely its the start, but I would make sure you have power to the starter and go from there.

Check fuses first under the hood.

I'd pull the small wire off the starter check voltage on the big wire. Should be battery voltage then use a small jumper to jump big to where the small one was before removing the starter. Then check voltage on the small wire when someone else turns the key.

Check fuses and voltage at the wire. And to the key switch etc, etc, Don't know the wiring on a 95 but I do believe the starter is ECM controlled. They should have a wiring diagram in that section. And some skill.

The OP has a more modern named TIPM like the early 3rd gens. But it's tied into more modules.

I like my 04.5
