I'm about to change the fluid in my standard 6 speed in my 2500. What is the best oil to use and how much does it take. Also what is the best way to get the oil into the top with our spilling it every where . And one more question how much clutch fluid has to be in the hydraulic clutch and the black tube does it role up or does stay down

Hey just a heads up the oil question will vary and ultimately come to you for a final. Research and you shall receive.
I personally went with Mobil delvac 50 and it made a difference over ATF. I believe it is 6 quarts but everyone overfills plus one. I did not fill from the shift tower. When it was full initially I then wrapped a rag and stuffed it in the fill hole with the hose and pumped an extra quart. I then had the plug and washer handy and as soon as I pulled out plugged it! Haha. That's what she said!

Worked well for me. I used Grainger for my two one gallon jugs and they priced matched for Zorro tools which was initially cheaper. Hope this helps.

Mudman 1 used amsoil which I wanted to try but couldn't get it easily in Houston.

Not sure on your other question.
