Cut through about half of that crossmember on mine, it doesnt hurt anything.

I went behind mine. Like it was said above better same then sorry. I imagine it wouldn't be a big deal if you didn't use your truck for anything but driving around.

Its not going to hurt anything. How often do you put a ton of weight right up against your stacks??

i was watching videos and one company cut it. i would go behind the cross member its for stucture

I cut most of mine and it didnt do a thing.

Nah, shouldn't hurt anything, I cut a notch on both sides,(left to right), then just bent it back towards the front for my single 5"
