I bought an Edge Ez thinking it would fit my 02, because it had 01 on the sticker(see pics). So I called edge to make sure and they told me ot was for 98.5-00s. I was under the impression that MAP sensors were like a circle triangular type. But this has the three flat connector on it (see pics). Any help is appriciated. Please share if you have an info.

I can't help you but if it turns out you have the wrong one and this one is for a 99, I might be interested.

I know quadzilla sells adapters, might check with them and see if they will work on your edge....they were only like $35 when I bought some to put a 98.5-00 adrenaline on my 01. I know this is 2 different brands, but it might work.

I called them and thats when they told me it was for a 98.5-00 and they told it wouldnt work because of the different MAP voltages.

That's correct 01-02 has different map plugs and they DO use different voltages with the map sensors ,

That is an EZ for an 01, get the map adapters Edge sells them for 25 bucks

The 98.5-2000 is a round map sensor connection, that is the flat 3 which fits the 2001

It will not work on your truck different map sensor plugs plus different voltage u going to have to buy different chip sell it on here people want them all the time and I've seen a few on here that will work on your truck!!

I thought it was for an 01 or 02 because of the flat map plug but the edge tech said it was for 98.5-00 according to the part # even when it has 2001 on the sticker.what could have happend ??????

This one in the pictures is for a 2001. I just had one not to long ago

so it looks like i have one for an 01. but when i tell edge the part # they are going to tell me its for a 98.5-00 and it wont have an adapter. so if any one has the old part # for an 01 i will give them. the tech told me it should have an "A" or "B" after the EZD1000. thanks everyone for input btw

i am correct to say that the 2 smaller plugs will go to the MAP when i get an adapter, and the 3 prong bigger plug goes to data link under the fuel filter with the cover on it?
