So after a near fatal visit to a dealer a couple months ago, I've been babying my truck as best I could for fear of the hg going at any moment, well the other day I hit my eb and when it kicked in, it was twice as powerful as normal??? I chalked it up to just switching to efilive and Howes meaner cleaner that I have been running lately. It felt sweet and sounded awesome didn't think anything else of it. Since then the truck has been filling the reservoir, getting worse each day.

That being said here is my confusion....
Going to pull the head obviously but I'm lost as to what studs? Do I o-ring? Is there a whole kit? I'm about to click 200k miles so Is there anything else I should be doing? Valves I'm sure need adjusting... the turbo should probably be addressed ? Dang I'm gona need a loan lol! Any help would be appreciated

Cummins headgasket, 425's, and send the head to be checked and wouldn't hurt to do a full valve job at that mileage
Thanks man, I planned to adjust the valves while I'm in there, but is there more I should be doing to them? Still learning sorry

New valves and seals and seats too...that many miles I personally would want to be sure everything is fresh in the head...and yeah the valves will need adjusted when done

Right on, anyone got a ballpark number for a valve job? Just trying to see how much of a freaking loan I'm going to have to take out :banghead: so far the list goes

Arp 2000's
Cummins gasket
2nd gen swap
Valve job
Head resurfaced
Having injectors tested

What else since I'm about to click the 200k mark? :thumbup:
