Snubber valve for electric gauge?

Is a snubber or needle valve necessary for an electric gauge for a fass 150?

Probably not a necessity, but a bad idea... not really. I feel like the snubber is more necessary for a VP-44 where you get the hydraulic pulsation from the injection pump.

I put one on mine and I have not looked back. I mean they are pretty cheap compared to the guages. Some have had reported more than normal sender failures without a snubber.

I just used a tapped banjo fitting off the bottom of the fuel filter canister, to the snubber, to an 18" grease gun extension and mounted the sender on the fire wall.

Hope this helps.
