without the option to delete some "stuff" I would not be interested. I only got the SMARTY for drive-ability and fuel economy on my 5.9. If I have to pay ~$1000 to eliminate the "stuff" I will not be willing to pay for a SMARTY on the 6.7.
..and this may sound weird but I'm satisfied with the stock performance on my 6.7. Just want it to sound like my 5.9, and get the same fuel economy.

Yeah well I was one of the first to purchase his Catcher Software on my 24valve back in the day, and he really knows Cummins software...

I am sure he is running into a ton of hurdles with these emission friendly programs.

Cause not everybody is going to remove the DPF and EGR, so he has to be able to work around the stock parameters and still make power...

But it is still taking way to long....:CRY::CRY:

2-yrs into the 6.7 ???:w:

:agree2: Only people who have owned 5.9s and made the switch can tell the diffrence. Why is their a sudden influx of 5.9 owners posting in the 6.7 forums?

my dad has the new 08' 6.7 and i love it but the only think i got against it, just like everybody else, is too much crap. can hop it up as easy. but as a daily driver i would get a 6.7 but to build one i get one mine.

In time the 6.7 will have enough Programmers and options to make big power. Just like the CR when they came out in 03', Its the end of big power in Diesels. two years later and BAM, big power.

But here is the beauty of the 6.7 over the 5.9. Give a 5.9 500hp at eh wheels and you will get 1000ftlbs of torque. You give a 6.7 500hp at the wheels and you will get about 1250ftlbs of torque. Torque is what moves our big arse trucks not HP

Well MADS is just coming off the TNT/Revo project and I can't imagine that was easy. Cummins has a rep for using very complex code and systems so it may take some time to crack the 6.7.

On the 6.7 note, from what I hear after people break in the motor on the 6.7 they are fine. I know I want to buy my fathers F350 off him when I get outta school to tow around my truck to tracks and stuff and I would love to get a 6.7 in that with a s300/s400 twins....oooohhhh..that would nice...of course this is all after I win the lotto.:$::thud:
