I just got in a TST powermax CR for my truck. I was wondering from some guys who have a little more dyno time than I've had, what settings for both have produced reasonably even power?

Most of what I've read is to stay below 3-4ish on the TST and around 6 seems to be a pretty happy medium with the smarty.

So what have you? What's worked well in the past and maybe more importantly what hasn't so I don't duplicate any errors.

smarty Revo: 8, default timing, RP 2: TM: 4

TST: 2/1, standard program, boost limit on to save my HE351 from detonation.

the big problem I have seen has been from 1800-2200rpm with the power not realy dropping off, but the curve flattens out during those RPM's. aparently it is an overlap between the smarty and TST with the smarty fueling the low end to 2200rpm and the TST kicking in at 1800 and up.

next time I do hit the dyno I may just try a lower smarty setting to see if that helps.

Finally got this thing installed and all I gotta say is holy god damn. Right now I'm running Smarty lvl 6, TST on 2X2, and the MP-8 at about 33% the truck is layin rubber like it's it's job. Running the early twins program, as soon as the boost hits 12 PSI you better be holding on to something, just like it says 12 PSI is full fueling.

Smoke is TOTALLY gone, previously the smarty would smoke like a freight train until I let out of the go pedal on lvl 9. My rail pressure is damn near staying where it needs to be too which is awesome. Time to go Durapax hunting...

i would take the mp8 off personally i think thats where u can go really wrong iirc

My #'s were with the TNT on #6, default timing,torque-3, rp default, TST 5/2, puck on 90hp and with the water/meth on. I dyno'd it on two seperate dyno's and my #'s were identical--611/1172, 613/1171.

I think I'm right there in the 600 club, it is almost scary fast on the freeway now.

Did you have the pressure option on your TST?

indeed it does, my truck needs the MP-8 on or it just falls on it's face. I did some messing with it today and I can still tell my pump is right on the verge of what it can handle.

Dang, great numbers. I've been trying to figure out how I could get closer to the 600hp mark without installing twins, I'll have to try those settings...

No, my TST is the older r39--no pressure or timing options.
