Found a used smarty so3 for sale $450 for my 99.

You guys happy with the smarty tunners?
If i stack with power puck will it work well?
Will it wake up my truck more than the power puck i have now?

5-speed, i have a power puck and thats it, im looking for some rv275's. Valair clutch.

That was what i was wanting to know, you can set the smarty for use with a timing box, i didnt know if i should use the smarty for timing? I would assume to use the smarty and no power puck but ive heard of others use a separate timing box. Thanks

1. You can run Smarty with anything
2. I don't think Smarty is worth it.

It helps the bottom end but that's it, and usually lowers over all top end even when stacked with another box. I recommend spending the money on injectors instead.

They are all about the same. If you have the power puck already, keep it. If not look for a used one, or Edge EZ. I would not buy one new.

I ran a puck smarty stack, wasn't a bad combo, use puck the puck for timing and smarty for fuel and its a lot cleaner. Added bonus you get a code reader too

Smarty is ok, since you already have a timing box I would look for a fuel box like a tst.
